Happy Thanksgiving

Post by hawglips »

I want to wish a mighty happy Thanksgiving to everybody here at GN.

Gonna spend some quality time with a Butterball and deep fryer today. And I'm going to count my blessings and thank the good Lord for them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This will be a low pressure Thanksgiving for our household. Kids are staying put in DC and Brooklyn and it will be just the two of us. It'll be non-traditional meal but turkey will be present in the form of a DIY turkey pot pie. A half breast from last spring is thawing as well as some pre-cooked wild mushrooms which will be in the pie. I've been scouring the online recipes and I think I found one that will fit our needs. If I OD on anything this weekend it will be football and dove hunting, not food, which is indeed, non-traditional. ;) Happy Thanksgiving. Gil

Happy Thanksgiving, hope everyone has a good un.
My family is at the in-laws, and I'm working 12 hours. Maybe I'll get a turkey sammich from the cafeteria

Clay, rest assured that the people and families you help today are giving thanksgiving to your presence. You make a difference in people's lives. Gil

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are spending it here in Montana.
We have new folks from church coming over. Chris is from North Carolina so he just encourages my accent.

Thanksgiving was spent at my Grandmother's in Paducah,KY when I was a kid up until a couple years before she passed in 02. She passed away while I was driving home from hunting South Dakota for my first Merriams. I think of her a lot on this day.
