Kansas Dinosaur!

Post by tubecaller10 »

My good friend and I went on a quick Kansas trip this weekend. Had a great time, filled both tags, but here is the highlight of the trip.
The first turkey harvested by my friend on the trip was the best bird we have ever seen killed. A true 1 1/2" spurred turkey.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Nice bird! However I don't buy in to the fact that he is a tough bird. Birds with spikes like that never fight. It's like a girl with freshly painted nails. They don't won't them to get chipped. I would say your monster bird was gay.

Maybe he did not have to fight. He could have made known he should not be messed with a long time ago.

I don't know where you came up with the information that I said he was a tough bird or anyone else. I said he was a dinosaur by his age with the banana hooks but I am pretty positive birds like that have fought before.... hence why he had the hens. If he was gay he was sure scared to show it!
