KY Bird

Post by WV Ridge Reaper »

Guy I work with has been on me for over a year now to come to KY and hunt his ground.Im a hour away from the hotel to his place.

Went down 3 times after work never could seal the deal..the 3 evening down I'm 100 percent sure it was this bird but I spotted him and 6 hens in a field.

It came a pretty good storm I got wet, soaked was a understatement and never could make it happen.Went down next day after we got rained out..3 hours from the time I left the truck and back.

I had to put the WV sneak and peek on him,he wouldn't play fair.

Picked him up and thought to my self pretty heavy bird..He went 25lbs 10 inch beard 1 1/4 spurs

First tss bird, and heaviest bird ever..Thanks Shooter for a wicked load

Yea I seen the spurs and knew it wasn't a bad one but when I slung it over my shoulder I knew it was a dandy.

Thanks everyone
