Made my first turkey tote.

Post by gobblegobblegobble »

It was a fun project, I think I need to make an adjustable sling for my shotgun next, haha!

Hopefully my son can get a longbeard's feet into those ropes next Saturday when PA youth season opens!

Maybe three hours, but it was my first time. I had to learn the weave, and there was a bit of a learning curve and a few YouTube videos haha. I could probably do one in half the time now.

I think my next project is going to be an adjustable sling for my shotgun.

Here are a few I made a while back for folks. They don't take long once you get the hang of it.

Do you have a good source for the stainless steel rings? That's what I wanted to do for mine, but shipping is a killer for those on ebay and such.

Hey don't feel bad, I haven't killed anything either. I have a brand new one in my vest that hasn't toted a bird yet. I may have jinxed myself, and may just need to throw it away! :D
