Wife's First - Great Hunt

Post by ccleroy »

I struck out this am to hunt alone while the wife took the kids to school, she sent me a text once she did and I went back and scooped her up to see if we could get on a bird before she had to head off to work. Struck him after a long walk from the truck and he put on a show all the way to the barrel for her. Spring is an amazing time.

Very cool!!!

My little Lady got a little over excited this morn. Her, Rich and I got on a gobbling bird on our third stop.
30 mins later we had him 25yds in Lily's face. I looked at her, and her gun was shaking badly. I said to myself, aw crap!
Boom,.... turkey runs off. Couldn't believe she missed clean, until I got up to see a 4" pine with a chunk out of it! :banghead:
Oh well, that ones been educated!!!
