Good luck to Tennessee hunters!!

Just wanted to wish everyone that is hunting the Tennessee season this year GOOD LUCK!!! I will not be able to hunt the first day because i will on the road, but Sunday will be my first day in the woods this year. I hope everyone has a safe hunt, and that you all have one at least 1 over the shoulder before the season is over. Or better yet, 1 on the ground and down first light opening morning! Once again ,, Good luck, and be safe!

Thanks for the well wishes, (and they worked) me and a buddy doubled on two nice birds this morning.
Mine was 20 lbs, 1 1/8" spurs and a 10.5" beard
His was 23 lbs, 7/8" spurs and 9.5" beard

None here yet, still have not been in the woods. I kind of got shafted on the lease I joined. Was told it was 6300 acres behind locked gate. Turned out to be 4200 behind wide open gate with no security for my trailer or belongings so we are trying to find some place safe to store it so we can hunt. Should be out this afternoon.

I had the shanks today. I missed two big toms. I don't know what happened. I haven't missed 2 turkeys in 5 years and I missed 2 in one day. oh well, I really don't care, the season is long.

I doubled up with a young man on opening morning. Birds come in behind us and he had to make a shot while being twisted up like a pretzel. Needless to say it worked out in our favor.
