5 star lodges, wading birds and bed bugs

I was able to get lucky this season down in the bottom.

Broke all time water levels a few weeks before season
Finally starting to dry up a bit

Opening weekend only found one in a million acres
I called him up for a buddy
He let him get his last meal then sealed em up

2 weekends later did a 2 day mission which equates to a 2 hour truck ride and 4 hour buggy ride one way
Woke up next to one and I Ruffles his feathers

Next morning my buddy and I had one put it to us

I went back solo during the week for a one night stand
I tripped up and killed him about 11:00 am

Just missed Ga opener for first time in 25 years
Leavin in the mornin

Hopefully the birds ain't gobblin and the creeks are flooded so I can get some work done

If you wonder about the initials in the tree

Buddy of mine that use to chase birds in that part of the country died last year
After going in circles with that bird for a bit I found a place to chill and left him a feather
