Struttin in Ontario Eh !

This big boy started to strut for the hens about a week ago but I haven't had the cam to get any film until today ! Man only a month and a week to go hope he don't wear himself out by then !

We have to wait till Sat. 4/30/16 here in Pa.

I guess the birds in Ontario are Easterns?

I saw a small flock with one strutter this morning in NW Montana next to a herd of elk I've watched the last few days. I glassesd the elk this morning to see if the two raghorns still had both antlers same as yesterday and was nicely surprised when I spotted the black ball with 5 or 6 lady friends within 50 yards of the elk.

Little more than 3 wks to wait here in MT.

Yes hobbes they are easterns that came here from Michigan in a swap for moose in the 80's .

Glad to see they are strutting in Montana as I will be there for the opener. :toothy7:

Do you live in a game preserve?? Looks pretty easy....

Jealous eh !

Actually this is the edge of a nature preserve and no hunting. They lady that lives here feeds them year round. I have seen over 15 deer in her back yard area ! If only it were that easy !!
