Pot call storage

Post by turkey_slayer »

I'm trying to find 4-4.5" diameter and about 1" deep tupperware containers for my friction calls. Mine are plum wore out and showing cracks. Anybody know where to pick some up?

I thought about using individual containers but then chose a modified flat storage container. Might work better for ya. I wanted to able to keep several calls all together (because i would lose em otherwise!). I ended up using the inserts they give you and glueing them in so that the pots stay in place and don't run into each other. My pots have held up and now I only lose em in the field.

Also, when I was thinking about it and looking around for boxes, I thought - well damn, I really just need a turkey tackle box. Best idea I've ever had. I am not naturally organized and its turned my turkey operation into a war machine.

Pics of both below.

That would work but be hard to fit in my vest lol. I need the singles and as small profile as possible to fit in the pocket of the super elite vest. My originals were made by Cody and blodgett. I can find them that will the smaller pots like Cody but having difficulty finding the ones that fit the 4" blodgett. I just prefer the Tupperware as it keeps them from getting soaked when it's raining. Good idea though for storage

Yes sir if they will fit a 4" pot. Here's my current one. I really need a 4.5" container for the blodgett especially if it's tapered

For the 4" blodgett

For up to 3.75 pots
