Looks Like Whitie is still around and kicking
She is a little over three years old now. Figured some Jackazz would have shot her by now, cause she sticks out like a sore thumb.
I've noticed over the last two years, she is always more alert and skiddish than the others. She had her first fawn this summer.
She strolled through the front yard with it a couple months ago like,... look what I have. She knows she is safe around me, after all the times we have bumped into each other.
Lots of pics in the last few weeks. 600 in 4 days. No bucks yet, cept for a dinky 6 point once or twice.
Did see the big 5 still all hanging out together last week behind Granny's. None of them looked like they grew any since last year, unless it was a different group.

That's cool.
We had a piebald buck in our bottoms for 3 years. Last time I seen him he was a 8 point but not very big and that was 7 years ago.

Cool deer....I saw a button buck several years ago that was close in appearance to that one. I hoped I would run into him after he matured, but I never saw him again.

UPDATE on Whitie.
Got to see Whitie up close and personal this eve. Archery season started yesterday, but rained all dadgum day.
80 degrees today, but wore my Camo chamois turkey shirt anyway, over a bright red t-shirt. After fighting the climber for 15 mins, I got pretty hot. Ended up taking off the long sleeves. I put 4 things to the test with deer under me at less than 20yds.
Bright red shirt, put some berry flavored lip balm on my cross bow rail. Then put some Lemon-eucalyptus insect repellant on. Strong smelling stuff. There is a small tree growing next to the tree I'm in, bout 5" in diameter and very tall.
I wait til all the deer are under me close, and kick the tree hard to make it shake the top, like a squirrel messing around in the top.
Did it 5 or 6 times, and none of them ever finched or looked up. Nothing, Notta. They never seen me, or smelled me.
Then again, maybe they know my scent after all these years, and know they are safe around me.
Anyways, 6 go by and go out into the bean field an hour or more before dark. Just before dark a dozen comes back in from the field and walk under me. I was shocked that I went undetected. No Bucks as of yet though. I am in no hurry to put the arrow to one just yet.
5 min walk from the front door, and is too hot to mess with one anyway.
Here is another pic of our celebrity deer here at the farm.

Well, may have some bad news. I was seeing her every morn and every eve for a while.
I have not seen her for almost two weeks now. Not even on cam. I knew it was coming though!
