When was the last time you bought a Colt?
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

2012 at $1200 per gun. Fn is now building them for like $645. Probably a little to dependent on the contracts

It seems to be an American tradition among firearms manufacturers to eventually go belly-up. Parker, L.C. Smith, Fox to name a few. Ithaca has risen from the ashes several times under different owners. Colt is filing a re-organization and will continue to manufacture during the proceedings.

Colt could sell thousands of the SAA guns, but has no interest in it. They could probably get $1500 for them just because people want one with the Colt name on it. Instead, people have to pay $500 to get a clone that is probably a better gun.
