Hand Loading TSS Fact and Fiction
Re: Hand Loading TSS Fact and Fiction
good stuff here - thanks,,,,,,
Re: Hand Loading TSS Fact and Fiction
Well, it seems 2016 is upon us and still no one has blown themselves up or been injured loading TSS. With the disappearance of some of the loading components Hal continues to break new ground with sub gauge loads and updated loads to reflect the availability of components today. I think this is once again proof positive that loading your own turkey shells and doing so with heavier than lead options such as TSS is as safe as any handloading.

I am new to the forum and I've been researching loading my own TSS in 3.5" 2.5oz #9 for my SX3 Longbeard. I know that Hal is the legend when it comes to loading TSS. I would like to order some shot and data from him or someone. I reload a lot of rifle shells and I really want to start loading TSS shells Thanks for the help. Dave

I am also new and am a Browning Auto 5 junkie. Both my Sweet 16 and my Mag 20 have Miroku barrels as extras so I can use full turkey invector chokes. Got lucky finding that mag 20 Barrel. The Auto 5s themselves are 1962 and 1967 Belgian respectively. I LOVE these guns and the Beretta A400 is for sale now.
Looking to do TSS for both calibers and am willing to take advice and listen. I am reading about Hal and think he must be THE TSS guy. Looking forward to learning from people on this forum!
