Use 54 cal. MLer felts. Or make your own with a junk 28 ga. choke and a brass hammer. You can buy a sheet of cork at Auto Zone.
Put you plans in the nail scarred hands.

I'm in the same boat, everyone is still out of the 28g cork. I have 1/8th sheet cork but nothing in the right size to punch them out.

Flopping tom, I wonder if we had a spent 28 gauge shell, if the brass would cut the right size. I have went through all my plumbing stuff and everything I have still wont punch out small enough. If I find some or a way to punch a few out I'll mail you some till they are back in stock.I only have 6 left.

Im loading some 20 ga for a buddies daughter. Her 28 ga gun broke and wont be fixed in time. I am splitting 1/4" 20ga cork and cutting them with a 28 ga choke tube. Im good for now just looking for some for later. Hopefully they will be in stock again soon. I guess I need to order components for a load in every gauge. You never know. .410 is next! :salute:

Well we got the components and new choke for the 20 gaTristar youth semi in time to get her set up for youth day. They didnt get a shot on one Saturday. We got a .555 IC choke also for her dad to shoot and its a great combo. Its averaging 382 in the 10" and 211 in the 20"! A little too tight for some. This is 1 oz of 9s & 5/8oz of 9.5s TSS at 40 yds.
