2 3/4 order came in

Post by hoobilly » February 6th, 2018, 6:33 pm

Can’t wait to get some powder for this 12ga load.

Gonna shoot Shooters Short & Stout turkeybkilling load.

I also stepped down to the 20ga 2 3/4 shell so my M2 20 will cycle a little bit better.

All I need at the moment is more shot and the 12ga powder I want to try.

I really like the 2-3/4” loads in both the 12 and the 20.

I like the idea that they are less involved in the loading process.

less components

easier cycling etc

I went with a 2 3/4" 12 gauge load from Hal and have been very pleased with it.

Well, I'd love to say that I had reasons like that when I started with the short ones, but its just what hull were available...

Turns out that the 1.75 ounce load from Hal works wonders so I never looked any farther.

Hoobilly in the 20 ga load are you running the 1 3/8oz from shooter? Rolled some last weekend but this great Indiana weather has got me on standby until warmer temps.
