Adjustable Mec Grabber 761R

Post by hoobilly » October 17th, 2017, 11:08 am

A couple months ago I bought a Mec Grabber for cheap. $50 bucks!

Bought it as I will be loading Shooters 2 2/3” blue thunder load.

When I bought it I seen the adjustable nut like on my other Mecs that adjust to 3”.

Read online for any info and couldn’t find anything on a grabber being adjustable.

So I called and texted pictures to Shooter. He has one but didn’t think the grabbers were adjustable.

So I decided to see if I could get it to work. And it does!

I know my crimp has room for improvement.. but I have hunted with worse.

Not a thing wrong with Mec crimps. Gaep loaders are nice... but not as nice as $50 crimps

Nice looking crimp! I load that load on a mec 600jr. Those Rio hulls are great to work with
