Drill Press?

Post by CMR » March 13th, 2017, 10:33 am

I know its not a necessity, but I'm probably gonna buy one anyway. The only thing Lowes and Home Depot have are way too big for the space I've got.

What models are y'all using? Point me in the right direction please

I would check harbor freight for what your going to use it for you can catch it on sale around 50 bucks and should last a good long while I recently picked one up for the same thing haven't got use it don't have shot yet but seems sturdy enough to roll crimp some shells for sure

I've got this one.

If you need a hight quality drill that will last a lifetime, spen more money. If you need a small inexpensive bench top drill that rolls turkey shells perfectly, buy this one.

X3 on HF's cheap table top unit. It's all one needs to roll crimp. Just remember to set it on it's slowest speed.

I bought this one. It's highly rated on Amazon. I've used it several days with a wire brush cleaning up a bunch of rusty crap and so far it's worked like a charm. Loaded a few shells with it to and it worked great. Use the lowest speed whatever you get

Good to hear. I was considering the HF press to make better roll crimps. My hand is not as steady as it once was.
