Clay, nice bird in your land of sideways. :thumbleft:
Craig, remind us of what your "leaf" sight is hot-glued to the action? :thumbleft: I get a kick out seeing challenges met with ingenuity. Nice bird with the lightest and least expensive, but deadly nonetheless, turkey killer. You gotta love toting that gun up and down hills. Gil

Hey Gil, thanks for correcting that and you were correct in spying my "Ghetto Fabulous 2000" rear sight elevation apparatus on the Yildiz. You are also correct in that gun has me spoiled, today it was take it or a virgin 20g Winchester SXP. After hefting them, the Yildiz went mountain climbing again. Originally the Yildiz was shooting about 10 to 12" low. I was trying to figure out how much elevation I needed before I bought or used a sight. Looking around in my room, I spied the red cap on an empty Pyrodex pellets tube. I thought, hey this will give me an idea of how high I needed it to be. I eyeballed center, then hot melt glued it to the top of the receiver and sighted down the gun. I liked it. I took it out shooting and centered the bead on the red cap, picture it kind of like making an "8" with much larger bottom portion. It shot dead nuts to my surprise, center of the densest 10" about 3" above point of aim, perfect for aiming at the lowest caruncles! The sight picture is super easy to acquire, has been so repeatable and rugged, so, I am leaving it as is. I will attach a better pic of it from the side that I took in the woods today while not hearing any gobbling...

.410 Yildiz is a killer. Limited out in WV this afternoon with a buzzer beating bird at 12:34 pm! 9" thin beard and a 1" and a 7/8" spur. I can't get the hang of posting pics but I will put them in the member's gallery.

Not to jack the thread, but how do you yield owners like em? I looked at one last week. Only part I don't care for is the shiny receiver. What choke thread are they?
