for those of you running a FF3 (3 MOA) how far forward or back on the receiver do you like to run your sight? just curios.
I have a picatinny rail running the full length of my receiver ( 870 youth with tactical style adjustable stock). can't quite make up my mind where I want to tighten her down.

That's about where mines at as well.

All of mine are as far forward as possible. Blocks less of my peripheral vision that way...

Re: FF3 How far from face?
As far back as I can get it, increasing the field of view through the sight. So I guess you are just going to have to try it and lock it down where it seems best to you.
Re: FF3 How far from face?
These small 1X reflex sights were designed for multiple purposes including pistol use which obviously requires extended arms with distances from the eyeballs farther than a rifle or shotgun mount. We've adapted them for our purposes. Whatever distance is comfortable for the shooter is the right distance. I've yet to hear an account of a miss because the sight was too far or too close to the shooter's eyeball. The first I hear will be entered into the multi volume set of Turkey Hunter Excuses Illustrated. Gil
