Savage 220A .410 pattern
Savage 220A .410 pattern
My wife said I was like a kid with a new toy! The weather is bad for patterning a shogun, but I had to see what it would do! 40 yards with the factory fixed full choke, and a 9.5 x 10 duplex load. 179 in 10” and 117 in the 10”-20”. Not bad for a misty rainy day!!

man that 410 is doing what the lead 12ga 3.5" turkey loads did 15 years ago.
outstanding!

Thanks Brice! Wish I would have had a 12ga 3” that pattered this good in the late 70’s, and 80’s. I would have killed those gobblers that tormented me at 35-40 yards!!!

Book'em, Dano. No need to choke that gun....

Don't think we need to do anything to that gun. My my.
Re: Savage 220A .410 pattern
This is awesome! Can't wait to shoot and pattern my own 410.
Take a kid hunting and you won't be hunting your kid.
Re: Savage 220A .410 pattern
I know It would be much in your favor but I have a crisp 50 dollar bill I would be willing to part with for the gun and few those loads.
