I’m afraid this .410 thing is going to be addictive. Hard to describe the feeling of watching one absolutely melt without a flop with that little recoil and noise. I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would.

Very nice and congrats on a small bore gobbler!
Re: Joined the Club
Congratulations!
What’s your setup? Gun, choke, barrel length, and load?
Thanks

It’s a High Standard Flite King K411 with a fixed full 26” barrel. My wife’s dad gave it to me to keep for my son when he was born. It was just an old rabbit gun and needed a little work on the extractor and finish, but it turned out nice. I found another stock for it on ebay for $40, so I cut it down for kids, but I still have the original for when they get older and for me to use until then. I also tapped it for a Burris FFII. It consistently shoots between 125-135 in the 10” with 9.5s shooting Hal’s 13/16oz load. I’m really not sure why I ever cary my 12 gauge.

Wow super impressive! I’ve seen some people not even get those numbers with 10’s!
