What's everyone's favorite load? I've shot the Big 20 XL my 1st year, and shot Tommys 90/93 last year both killed with authority, I've been shooting Tommys Hot Rod load a little recently and even though the numbers aren't as high, it's incredibly consistent patterns that are almost 50/50, I'm gonna shoot the Big stubby a little in the coming weeks to see how it does, but over all I really like the 90/93.

I shot Hal's Big 20 XL last year and was rather pleased with it, this year I am going to try Hal's Big 20 Stubby, Big 20 Stubby NC, Lil Zip and his infamous MOA20 load just for Chits and giggles, I am also going to try Tommy's 90/93 and his 1 3/8 oz. reduced recoil load for my daughter in her Affinity. I have heard a lot of good things about the 90/93 load and can't wait to try it.

20guage 3” 6shot long beards.

Man there are some tss smokers in the 20 to choose from!
Right now I am shooting Hal’s 1200fps 1 7/16oz load with 9’s.
So that’s my favorite.
In 12 I like a 2.25oz load of 1oz 8’s or 7’s duplexed with 1.25oz of 9’s.

I don't remember for sure but I think I was getting an average of 160 w/4s 225 w/5s and 290 w/6s all 2oz loads. I shoot the 5s

Has anyone patterned the Federal TSS 20 gauge #9's yet??

I'm gonna be trying Longbeards this year for 12 gauge, but I am quite fond of Mag Blends or 1-3/4 of T8.5's.

I've killed the most birds with regular 1-5/16 Winchester 5's out of a 20 gauge though...

In a 10ga load I like Tommy's 2.5oz load of tss #8s
In a 12ga load I like Hal's 3" 2oz using a federal hull using tss #9s
In a 20ga load I like Tommy's hot rod load or his 90/93 also hard to beat the tried and true big 20xl of Hal's.

Out of those my favorite is Hal's 12ga load just because I tend to carry that gun the most.

ive got a tss load that puts 600+ in a 10'' circle. I still prefer the longbeard 5s

Tommy's blue thunder load, or the big 20xl

I stocked up on the EM, 12 gauge, 2 oz. 7's (same lot #'s) when I saw how they patterned and killed and they have taken down about 95% of the gobblers I've killed since the 7's were initially released. I started loading TSS, 20 gauge last year and the Lil Hammer may become my new favorite as I tote a 20 gauge more ( 300 in the 10" w/ an even 20" dispersal of the 9"s).
