Franchi 48AL 28 ga
Franchi 48AL 28 ga
Opinions on the Franchi 48AL 28 gauge with 26 inch barrel as a Turkey gun? I plan on using TSS. Is the factory full choke a good place to start?

Mine didn’t impress me with the factory full. I have a Carlson’s XF that I really like. I’m in the process of getting a Sumtoy.

I’ve been shooting one for about 5 or 6 years now. Love it! Factory full is a great place to start. That’s what I shoot. It’s averages about 240 with the 1-5/16oz load. I did try an XF, and the numbers fell way off. I also shoot the 1-1/2oz load and get similar 10” numbers.
