Anyone try 1 5/8oz with the 562-5?

That's my setup out of an 870 youth 21" barrel. I was getting 353/162 in the 10"/20" which was too tight for my liking. Instead of getting a new choke, I loaded one with 6 slits in the wad instead of 4. That took it to 281/212 which was exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps

Of the two single-shot Baikal MP-18's that William rigged for turkeys for me, the .5625 was all the choke this man needed. Pretty balanced numbers in the 10-20 ring and 10" at 40, mid to high 200's in both. Been sometime so I don't recall the exacts, but I was pleased. Gil

With an 18 1/2" barrel on a Weatherby 459-TR I averaged 298 in the 10" and 200 in the 20" shooting 1 5/8oz, 9's w/ Sumtoy's. Shooting the same load w/ .555 Jeb's
resulted in blown loads averaging @250 in 10".

I have shot it with my 21" 870 Youth and the 562-5. It averaged 250 in the 10 with T9's.

I'm running the 1-7/16 ounce load now and averaging 230-240 with T9's out of the same choke.

Thanks. I think I'll order a flush extra full. I'd as soon not have to use a sight.
