Anyone tried to fit an m2 speedbead on a stoeger m3020? I’ve discussed getting sumtoy a mount drill and tapped but was just curious if anyone had tried a speedbead.

I have one on my daughters Affinity compact 20 ga. I had a guy modify a Speed Bead mount for a M2 Benelli to fit it and it looks great on the gun, there was a issue with the FF III not sitting exactly level (lower in front) and he tapered the 1/8" spacer and leveled it out(the Speed Bead comes with a 1/8" and 1/4" spacer). I have since modified a Speed Bead for my TriStar Viper G2 28 ga. and it only took about a 2 hours to do it and I ran into the same issue with it not sitting level and I tapered the 1/8" spacer by rubbing it on a piece of sandpaper, it took longer to taper the spacer than to modify the mount but it looked good when I was done.

I have a speedbead mounted on my Beretta Xtrema2 and it makes hitting very easy assuming the other fundamentals are there. Highly recommend a red dot on a shotgun like this.

In your case, getting the little mount ring that holds the base that the SpeedBead sits on may be the challenge. I am guessing that the since the Stoeger M3020 is a Benelli design made in Turkey (the exterior design looks very very close to my Benelli M4) that the SpeedBead Benelli mount option may work well, and if not, I bet you could hillbilly gunsmith it as needed to get it to fit. Good luck!

I’m gonna attempt to make one for the stoeger m3500 work... I’ll post if it works!
