410 ????

Ok just want to ask how many 410 loads are out. Do they run buffer or no buffer. This was today out a 25 inch yildiz. Just off the machine with oil and junk in barrel. Dark rain clouds and rain off/on all day. Not good day but had to see. Had a shot left in the wad so check the O.D. it was .079 so dont know what you call it. It put 142 but it was nice even looking

William, that's a fine pattern for sure. I think most of us stick with the 13/16 oz. load designed by Hal. It's unbuffered. .410 is a funny animal. I found that it made no difference one way or another to use buffer or not with that load. Gil

As Gil stated above that's a excellent pattern and I run the 13/16 oz unbufferd load as well.

Mr Gil this was the 25 inch one with the 383. I was thinking that I remembered them being buffed is why I asked. It was a 9 I think the shot checked .079

I just started loading the 410 and am sending my gun to Sumtoy Friday to have him put a F.F.III on it.

If I can get a few I will try them. I just never have loaded and found that it like top secret to find out anything. I just got some of the loads this way. Now this is the same choke we been running. It has been doing good with the 13/16. I really just testing to see if I can find better.
