Well with the warm weather I finally got to put some TSS threw some paper

Here a few pictures,I was lucky enough to take since the over pressure load didn't take me out...Should work for the hills and hollars and the occasional off the limb shot

Shot a IC 555 at 30&40 then a IC 562 at 40

Leaves burnt orange holes in the paper. Yep, first indicator of a high pressure load.

Does anybody else that is shooting an M2 with an IC choke have a gap between the end of the barrel and the choke? I expect a little gap to show that the choke is seated, but the gap on mine is right at an 1/8" and it just looks like crap.

Yep. I've noticed it on my M2 and also a browning maxus, and browning gold.

Yep small gap. As long as it mates up inside you're all good

If there is a slight gap double up on the thread grease esp. at the bottom of the tube which will mitigate the potential erosion/corrosion caused by the hot gasses.

The gap is not where the choke mates with the bore or you would have a yuge problem. It's where the choke seats on the end of the barrel

Yeah mine is worse than that. The packaging says gaps are allowed up to 1/32. Mine is right at an 1/8". I wish I knew how to post a dang picture on here.

What load were you shooting that was over pressured? What was the psi?

that is not a problem if a small gap.(not 1/8) That just lets you know they are bottom out on inside of the barrel. Ours do the same.
