Plexiglass Circles on Ebay

Hey guys,

At one time I know there was talk of people requesting a circle template for tracing their patterning circles.

I found these on eBay. They sell 20" and 10" pre-cut circle pieces of plexiglass. I contacted them and asked if I ordered a 20" could they cut out the center 10" for me like a donut. They said they were happy to make the alteration. I have not received it yet but I figured I would share for those who are looking for something like this.

The price wasn't bad either. I paid $15 plus I think $7 shipping.

Why not take a piece of cardboard and draw a 10" and 20" circle, and cut it out????
A hand that's steady, not mine, could do this and cut it pretty darn close also ... even use a piece of thin vanier??

While that will work just fine, it's easier to get the core of the pattern with plexi. I use Mylar blast film for mine.

And you can see thru the plexi-glass to find your pattern. Can't see thru the cardboard!

If you've got a local glass shop, you can probably get them to make what you want for under $20. I have done so to get bottoms for scalloping buckets. (Glass bottom bucket for underwater viewing without getting under water)
