Benelli M2 choke question

Post by golfernash »

I have a Benelli M2 and can put up 300/200 running an IC 555. The problem is most of those 500 are in a 12-13 inch circle. I am looking for more of a 260/240 split evenly dispersed in the 20. I have tried the following chokes
IC .562
IC .575
Jelly Head .570
Undertaker .582
Factory Full
None of these gave me what I was looking for.
Any suggestions?

My montefeltro 20 likes the Carlson's HW 7 choke.
268/227 and 286/244
Carlson's .580 choke was a bit too open. 10in #'s were barely over 200.
Comparing M2 to a Monte may be like apples to oranges though. Let us know what you find.

If I offer my opinion, am I gonna get chided?

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Just curious as too the highest pellet counts anyone has achieved with the 20ga.
Seems 280-300 is easily achieved with a 1.625 oz load.
Anyone putting up a consistent 350+ in the 10" @ 40 yards with the 20ga?

Have been getting a consistent 330s in 10" @40 out of one 20ga but its too tight of a hot core for me to like to hunt with.

I got called a liar on another thread but I have an M2 with an Indian creek 555 and a 26" barrel. Shooting
1 3/4 ounce TSS 9's I shot an average of 400 in the 10". That was 2 years ago with witness.
