You should enjoy that little gun! I have a 21" one and it is a great turkey gun.

Best pattern yesterday was with a flush mount .575 Carlson's. It was 233/10. I also shot the .585 flush, .575 extended, .585 Trulock, and Factory modified. I ran out of pattern paper so I only fired each one once. It's got a little more work to do in order to get where I want it. Seemed to like a clean barrel, oh well.

Sweet little gun. Those Timney triggers sure are nice. I have one in my 11-87. Set it to 4 lbs.

9's It still has a little ways to go to get it where I want it. I load mine without the buffer, but I think this gun might really need some, so I rolled a few up that I'll shoot in the morning. I was thinking maybe it wasn't choked tight enough, being such a short barrel, so I fired a .560 Kicks and it was awful. I think it was 124 in the 10 at 40. My other guns seem to shoot fine without buffer, but I'm hoping that's what will put this one over the edge.

A friend uses a 555 Indian Creek. Throws great patterns. 280/200
