So I picked up an 870 youth and its time to restock it. I can get either a factory Monte Carlo, surshot or an ATI. What is your pick and which is the lightest,?

Re: Remington stock
Probably ATI. I've got one on my Ruger 22, and Gophert has a half dozen on all his 870s.
I didn't think I would like it at all, but it kind of grows on ya.

As far as pistol grips I've had an ATI and Knoxx. The ATI was definitely lighter but no recoil reduction if that interest you. The Knoxx was better made but heavier.

I have no need for a 30-06, I have a shotgun

Re: Remington stock
Where do you find the ATI Talon6? I have an 870 20ga I also want to put one on for my kids to shoot. On their website I don't see it in 20 only 12.
Also, can these stocks be dipped you think?

Re: Remington stock
Ok. Knoxx and ATI no longer make anything for a 20ga. Phoenix tactical does.
