What 20?

I'm about to drop some coin and I'm looking at a 20 and some tss. So many guns what is the your recommendation...

Browning BPS
Franchi Affinity

I'm shooting a Benelli M2 20 and love it. Heard good things from the Affinity guys also. Hard to find a gun that doesn't like TSS tho!

Well to be honest I just don't want to spend the $$$ on an M2. The franchi is the only auto in the price range I would consider but at heart I'm a pump guy.

I started shooting a Weatherby SA459 last year and am impressed with it. Factory tube with TSS 9 throws 233 in the 10 and another 232 in the 20 at 40 yards. About a $600 gun that is already drilled and tapped and comes with a picatinny rail ready to mount optics.

But if you are stuck on pumps, the Remington 870 is dirt cheap at about $250, but is not drilled and tapped. does not have sling swivels, etc.

My vote is save some money on the 870 and deck it out however you like. This is my second one (first one was stolen) and if I had to do it again it would be another 870.

Out of your list I would go with rem 870
My dedicated turkey gun is 935 Mossberg but I own a 12 and 20 870 and have killed turkeys with them. Poi and poa on both were perfect. In Remington world the 870 are best IMO for a pump.

From your list, I like the Affinity, but if I was a pump guy...I'd roll with the 870. Get whatever you like...TSS will take care of the rest.

Ok I've found a Nova at a decent price. My question is why I never see anyone using one. Is there something I'm missing?

Whichever one is the lightest you can afford. If you're going to drag around a heavy 20, you might as well shoot a 12. I would probably get the Sa-08.

Yep, my vote is the Weatherby SA-08 or the Weatherby SA-459 if you want a dedicated turkey gun. I think my next choice would be the Stoeger 3020.

If cheap is your wanting....you can't beat the Remington 870.

I'm thinking of buying another 870 since my son absconded with the one I developed all my TSS loads through. I already have a RSF choke (old one) on hand to screw into it.
