Just saw these. 28 gauge 870 Wingmaster 25" vent rib + choketubes. Looks like a really sweet rig. Anybody run one of these?

Remington 870 28ga
Yes. A friend bought one last year. They deff ain't the same quality as the old wingmasters and I wouldn't pay what they go for. He had to send his back 3 times. It wouldn't chamber shells.

Re: Remington 870 28ga
I just bought it last summer. I have not killed a turkey with it yet, I did carry it a few times this year. I was getting 120-130 in the 10" with tss 8's ,that was before I got some 9.5's. I have not tested the 9.5's yet. Everytime there was a threat of rain I carried the 12ga with synthetic stock and naturally those were the times I killed birds. If didn't know better I would think the 28ga was turkey repellent. I wanted to shoot one with it so badly.

Re: Remington 870 28ga
I have one. I missed a bird with it in Texas this year (pretty sure my pattern was deflected by a small cedar limb).
I need to spend more time on the range with it this summer to get a better idea of the pattern. It has the typical rust that the Remington's have. It has a 25" barrel and a factory fixed modified choke.
