Ronny"Reloader" does but he uses a very customized load. May shoot different. Also he is shooting 8.5s.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

I shoot that shell with 9 and 9.5. Haven't come up with any reason that would make me want to switch to those big #8 shot. :)

Back when I was using 8s I bought from Kyle, I was getting higher percentages in the 10 vs the 9s. They didn't spread as much in the same chokes/same loads. I wouldn't expect to see numbers like others post up, but I'd expect head rolling patterns to way out yonder :D

This is a pure WAG, but I'm going with 160/160 counts at 40 with the right choke and a true 8 at 260/oz. Smaller 8s would increase that number. The 160/160 will most likely still be strong at 55yds. You quite possibly could get much more center dense, but be careful as close range patterns will be tight with 8s if you get tight at 40.
