I just put a Nikon Turkey pro on my 870. I hope this plus wearing my glasses helps kill some Gobblers this coming year.
I also have a .665 JellyHead choke on it.

My dressed up 870 supermag w/ truglo red dot, and rhino .670 choke.
Bought some Nitro Ammunition Company shells and patterned them this past weekend. All I can say is bye-bye Hevi-shot. Those Nitro's hit like a freight train.

I'd had a couple friends who kept at me about switching over to nitro's. And when I saw what they cost.... took me another 2 years to finally pull the trigger and get them. But like i said, these things are fast and hit hard.
If you do decide to get some let me make a recommendation to you. Most guys i know get on the nitro site and order online. And most of them grip and complain that it took way to long to get their order. I've heard some of them say it took about 6 months. I had a guy tell me to print out the order form, fill it out, and put it in the mail with a check. He told me this way woorks much faster, and he was right. I got me order in about 5 weeks.

No shotguns for me. I just use a pair of channellock pliers to hold the shell, and I smack the primer with a hammer. HTL has really improved my patterns!

I use rat poison in turkey feed. Works faster and my birds look perfect in the photo.

Here's mine. Mossberg 835 with a Bushnell 1.5-4 with turkey reticle, and I added a PG .670 choke in her to replace the stock choke, and a limbsaver pad.

These are now retired, they have been known to come out of retirement every now and then, but for the most part they just keep each other company in the cabinet with some other retiree's . Same gun in first and last picture

They were around $1200 a piece..The 20ga. is my favorite gun that I own.. It shoots great. I do a lot of trap shooting at my house, and everybody gravitates to that shotgun..
