Re: Knight TK2000 12ga with TSS 9’s
first TK2000 I shot it kicked so hard that I tore some skin on the trigger guard and if my memory serves me correctly from the knurled part of the hammer.. Bought a limb saver for it. helped tremendously
Re: Knight TK2000 12ga with TSS 9’s
Thanks Brice, I will have to check out the limb saver pad for sure!

I haven’t shot mine since I finished up my muzzleloader grand slam in 2010, but yes, I remember how it would rock my world. I might have to pull it out for 2019 as I had some good hunts with that gun!2Shooter wrote:Don’t know what the velocity is, but the kick is like a young mule!!! lol

In the year 2029 Jason Hart is the first man to complete a single season world slam using a ray gun..
I don’t think there’s nothing you haven’t used to kill gobblers. I just wanna kill a goodn with my Tominator

Hart is the man!!! I thought he might use one of Tim Wells blow guns to take a world slam!!!
Brice how’s the kick on the Tominator?

Ha Ha! Nah, after I finished my bow world slam last year I decided that turkeys are really made to be shot with a shotgun. Unfortunately my shotgun addiction makes me want to shoot them with many kinds. My turkey gun problem has gotten way out of hand!2Shooter wrote:Hart is the man!!! Interesting post. Nice pattern. Have one of those brand new and never shot put up somewhere. Always heard they were brutal shooters tho. Mite have to pull it out and give it some love. Some TSS love.

Always glad to see TK post. Been using mine for several years now and managed to add two Florida birds to the kill thread this season. Any discussion on any forum mentions the excessive recoil. I added a slip on pad to mine. Makes me feel better anyway. In 2017 played with some lighter loading but in 2018 went back to the 100 grain Goex Bp and 2 1/2oz #5 or #6 lead. TKs are very versatile turkey killers.

No - Just stacked it on. Does look a little weird I guess but I no longer think about recoil. Look at the Kill Thread (bird #5). Good picture of it there. The extra length seems to help my aim point.
