Indian Creek

Post by TNHunter61 »

About to getting an Indian Creek choke tube for my 12 ga 870 Remington it has a 23 inch barrel and I will be shooting 2/1/4 oz 8 and 9 combo tss loads. I am looking for the tightest pattern The most pellets in the 10 inch circle that I can get. What restriction would you guys recommend! Their web sight says they make a .665 but other restrictions are available ! Thanks

The .665 should get you a great pattern! It will be tight with TSS!

A IC .665 is what I shot in my 11-87 Super Mag, I was shooting 2 oz. of 9's and 1/2 oz. of 8's and it shot outstanding but have now gone to a 20 ga. :D

I'm sure other less expensive options like carlsons or a hs strut undertaker would be more than adequate. But I like Indian Creek.

Not sure on the combo how it will shoot with a 665

it might be tight, possibly blown pattern and may actually need a hair more open.

Looking forward to hearing how it shoots for you

I'm shooting 12 gauge 870 supermag 20 inch barrel and 2.5 oz of 8.5s.

Here's 665 Indian creek

I wish I had a 675 or 680 to get a little more in 20 inch. The 670 was more even so that's what I'm shooting. I tried carlsons and rem chokes from 665 to 680 but patterns were not good at all and not consistent. The Indian creek chokes are very very consistent. Hope this helps.

A .665. I shot tss last year in 3 inch 2 oz. with a rhino choke in a .660. Done great I really don’t know if a person needs any more than that ! But It does not do as good with the heaver loads. Just wanted to see what the capabilities are. Thanks
