choke tube scratches

Post by LAturkey »

I'm shooting TSS through a Benelli SBEII with an IC .665, the patterns are very consistent but I've noticed some scratches and some spots that look a little worn on the inside of the choke. It hasn't messed with the performance but I don't want to hurt the choke or gun. Has anybody else had this problem with TSS? or is it even a problem at all just normal wear and tear?

If you're referring to nicks and scratches on the wad catchers in the choke then it's normal. All of mine get that way after shooting anything heavier than lead through them. No worries.
