Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Del killed young Tom . He called the bird in . I was calling sparingly
with the travel call softy to sound like multiple turkeys. No decoys . Public land hunt. It was a blast !-

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
I just got the call from Doug a couple days ago. It’ll be in action tomorrow morning. Good Lord this thing sounds like turkey angels singing. I’m going to be real sad to mail it off.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
What would it cost for me to buy everybody out of the travel call arrangement and just keep this damn thing?

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Hunted this morning but they just didn’t gobble much early. Beautiful day, and I would have liked my chances if I could have hunted a while, but had to be back early.
CamoMan - PM me your address and I’ll begrudgingly get the call mailed out so you’ll have it for the weekend.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
Maybe so. But if not, I’ll be buying one. It’s a sweet, sweet call. I started out hunting with only a pot call. The first gobbler I ever called in was with a K&H Ol’ Yeller. But the last few years I’ve rarely gotten my pots out of my vest. Mainly run a mouth call and a box for prospecting. But this one brought me back around. I really enjoyed using it.
Thanks for offering it up as a travel call.

I just received it today. My wife said when she went to the mailbox there were a flock of gobblers that attacked her!
So how many days do I keep it?

Until I can use it in MI and there isn't another name spoken for it yet, as I don't and won't know that for at least a month … keep it till' the cows come homeCamoMan4025 wrote: ↑April 10th, 2020, 4:05 pm I just received it today. Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
So far no luck, but the call is great. Me and a buddy had a 2 year old come in to about 25 yards yesterday morning. He gobbled good on the roost but shut up on the ground and popped in silent. He needed to take 5 more steps to clear a branch that was in the way and for some reason he turned around and walked off. I had a strutting jake out and a hen decoy. He was also strutting then all the sudden lost interest. Not sure if the decoys turned him off or the cows in the background. Before he popped out from the heavy brush, he would have seen the decoys, so we are at a loss.
Anyway, when do I need to send this thing away and who wants it?

Looks like Ole Raspy is up next here in Kentucky. I sent him a pm. Sorry you didn’t have any luck with it. Make sure you sign it before sending it on.

Re: 2020 Lausman travel pot call
I had it out this morning and the birds loved it, even the hens......they just wouldn't come in. Guess if I had the real thing prancing around with me, why go to an old fat guy trying to be sexy!!!
Let me know his info and I will pass it on, great call though!

I don’t have any information on him but I did send him a message. Maybe Hoobilly has his information? Keep it until someone speaks up and maybe you will be sexy enough to coax him in.
