that right there can be sent off to Carlsons or SUmtoy and have threaded for choke tubes. Shooters HotRod TSS load will make the 2 3/4" chamber seem like you shooting a 12ga 3.5

Are all 1100 barrels and receivers interchangeable? My dad has an old 2 3/4 inch chambered, fixed choke 1100. This would be a cool upgrade to make it a turkey gun option.

I did some research elsewhere to see if I could swap this barrel into my Dad’s older 1100. It appears the barrel will fit just fine, but it sounds like the internals of the receiver are not built to stand up to turkey loads. Does anyone have good knowledge of how an older 2 3/4” 1100 would do with a 1.75 ounce TSS load?
