You can have my base or Burris 336 put on for about what saddle mount runs. Both are better ways but saddle works.

Re: Bore cleaning between shots when patterning
I dont like to see a cleaner other then something that does not leave oil in bore. Most the time we dry brush then alcohol patch the target guns. Most hunting guns start with it clean and then just dry brush it. Big thing is to do it the say each time.

Re: Adding screw in choke
It is all about the outside diameter. Most older barrels from Remington take tru choke (not thin wall tru choke) Browning that the tru choke. Winchester and Moss take the win/rem. With every one worrying about the weight of guns now companies have gone to what I call bell bottom pants. You look down...

It works good. The only thing is that one runs a remington choke and the other one will take little different choke.

We got one in the shop now. It is a good little gun. I see alot of them with the kids on 4H team they hold up good for the money. This one we been shooting TSS in it. The Apex and Nitro loads. The we run the 562 with the Apex and Federal loads. The Nitro blend had to be open up to 570.

Re: M2 mount options
This got me to looking. lol. The 336 mount is a good mount. It takes 2 8-40 screews that has to be in one place. If gun not tap no problem. If tap you should only need to drill one hole. Our mount can have 2 6-48 or 8-40. I like 6-48 so if you ever have problem you can step up to next size. I did no...

Hoobilly I understand to a point why. I don't care who load or what load someone shoots. I may or may not care for the person/company but if load is good and safe so be it. That is why I never post much about load I have tested. I try to figure out what works best in set up. I have idea what it is. ...

Ok I was playing around some. Threaded a 28 inch and shot it. Then cut it to 24 inch and threaded it. The 24 inch picked up 21 shot with 2 loads and 30 shot with one load. Just trying to get some feed back on the little devils. Is the powder yall run fast or slow burn.
