Re: Slam mounts are home
Great mounts especially the first one that has both birds. If I had that many turkey mounts I would have to build two additions to hold them all.

Great job and congratulations on tagging out. That is the first turkey I have ever seen that has used a mouth call to call in his hens(must be a good mouth call.) I guess you see something new everyday.

Tell him great job and nice bird. Awesome that he still wanted to head out even though he was under the weather. That is more than most adults would do. Its awesome when parents take the time to get their kids out in the woods. Great job guys!

Turkey101, First of all welcome to the forum by the way. I think the best thing for you son is a .410 or 20 gauge single shot with a nice TSS load. Their are plenty of people on here that can set you up with the TSS and loads and they make it so you don't have to carry that heavy 12 gauge around. I ...

This looks pretty sweet. I just signed up for a small donation and some shells. Says it should ship around mid April. Perfect timing for trying it out after going after some birds. And yes I am one of those suckers that buys just about anything to give it a shot.

By far the gobbler lounger style chair is the most comfortable. You can usually get them from walmart in a mossy oak version for $19.99 or less at the end of the season. The only down side as others have stated is the weight. If you are wallking around all day they get heavy but for long sits they a...

Thanks guys, it looks like I`m stuck in the contract so I guess I`ll find out for myself, but i did learn a lesson from this. If the cable company tells you there is service at an address,, get them to put it in writing! Oh well! I guess if its that bad I can just resell it or use it as a rental! I...

TSS Shells Ready for Winter Turkey Season
We just reloaded 20 12 gauge TSS #9 loads and 11 20 gauge TSS #9 loads this afternoon. Ready for turkey season to come back in this Saturday and plenty left over for the spring as well. I will be trying to get my dad his first turkey. I will probably hold off until spring unless my trigger finger be...

If you are used to cable internet and you are going to DSL you are going to kill yourself for the first year. Video of new VA State Record Turkey
Not sure if this has been posted anywhere but here is the video of the new Virginia State Record Turkey being harvested 04/11/2016. Not sure if they are on the site either. Just found this on a local forum. That is a true giant of a bird.

Most of my time in the past has been spent on private land. I won several public land quota hunts for public land this year so it will be a mixture this year.

Great job on all of the coyotes. If you don't mind me asking what kind of calling sequence are you using and duration for each call? I have been dabbling in predator hunting for a year or so but I am trying to buckle down and get serious.
