I apologize for the problem and am working to get the "old" look back.
For anybody that wants to know the technical problem, we upgraded php on the server and some of our older scripts weren't compatible.
Damn upgrades are a pain, but necessary.

Sorry about the new look...
We're in the process of completing some software upgrades that a few of our older scripts don't like.
I'll be working on trying to get the old look back.

New Server...
Our web hosting people will be "migrating" Gobbler Nation to a new server sometime around 3:00AM (EST) in the morning (2/5/14). We've been working & testing on this thing for the last few days and hopefully got it setup so downtime is minimal. There will still probably be a short time ...

Those are all some great speculations  I always use the option to remain logged in or remembered.. But as of late alot of times I come here and I am not logged in.. Is something goin on Rick, or is my IP jumping around. I don't think the IP jumping around would have anything to do with it. ...

Re: Automatic sizing of pictures to fit requirement
Ended up making a few changes that should make things better. Attachment images shown inline will now be shown as a smaller image which is clickable to display the full size image that was attached as in my test above. This will be the case only with attachments & will not have an affect on imag...

Thanks.
We were down for a short time.
We have a post preview mod installed, however it only works in the forum. It's gonna take a little more work to get it on the main portal page.

Re: Automatic sizing of pictures to fit requirement
Thats interesting TS...thanks. I'll see about putting that into use to keep page width under control. Jaybird, on the large images you mention, are you trying to "attach" them to a post here in the forum or trying to upload to your gallery. The gallery does resize images automatically and ...

Gobbler Nation Downtime...
Sorry about the downtime this afternoon. Our server had a temporary memory problem :) Anyway, we're gonna double the server's RAM per an upgrade that's scheduled for 2:00 AM on March 7th. GN will be completely down for about an hour during the upgrade. Hopefully the extra RAM will take care of those...

That actually used to be the norm for this type of forum. Modern coding guidelines made them change that though. You can still do it with most browsers, including Internet Explorer by right clicking the link. You should get a small pop up window that will have the option to "Open in New Tab&quo...

It'd be a nice addition to Gobbler Nation IMO. My daughter (Layla) did the photo retouching & cover design for SA. I'll see if she can come up with a demo cover for us to look at. Here's the calendar description & preview of the SA Calendar. Calendar Description: 11" x 8.5" (11&quo...
