I like the stories with details. I generally don't write very many myself but I do enjoy reading them.

Re: Turkey People
I have a few local friends that are as serious about turkey hunting as I am, and that is pretty dang serious. My hunting partner and I have been chasing them together for about 12 years or so. He is about the only one I hunt with that will go from daylight to dark in 95 degree weather in the SC swam...

Personally I don't like to sell guns. Once I have them, they stay in the safe regardless if they get used or not.
Honestly any of the 3 will work. I actually went even cheaper than that and have a 20ga Remington 870.

Re: How long can you take it?
It depends a lot on where I am, what the weather is like, and how big the property is. My hunting club is over 16,000 AC and I rarely sit in a spot and cold call unless its raining. If its raining I will sit and cold call for a few hours.

Dude you just admitted in writing that you were wrong and the woman is right. I am pretty sure there is a law against that, or at least some kind of code.

It worked well last season. I know Mike has some more snake wood in his shop, I figured he would be hunting with a snake wood trumpet this spring.

They are also very good. ;) Craig does make some great scratch boxes. Last I heard he head retired, stopped making calls, an...
