Re: This years spurs
I was shooting my old trusty waterfowl gun that I was planning on using for raining days. 870 SM 26”bbl .675 HS strut choke 2.5oz tss 7.5s. Has about the same number of pellets as my 20ga 1 5/8 9s. Shots varied from 20-60 yards this season. Felt recoil was less than my 20ga. The 7.5s hit with author...

Re: This years spurs
Was very fortunate to spend many days afield this year. Did things a bit different this year. Went back to a 12ga with just a bead. Made my own mouth calls this and used them exclusively all season. Handmade shells and calls and lots of great memories. I also had a herniated disc operated on two wee...

TSS various sizes of shot and gauges. My goal is to have around 550 pellets in any given payload. 410 being the exception.

Been using the same pair of Nikon monarch 10x42 for the past 15 years. The get used hard during the waterfowl season. I carry them everyday turkey hunting on my chest with a harness. I consider binos essential equipment. They may be larger than some compacts, but I like larger objective lenses.

Re: South Carolina DNR recommendations for changes to turkey season
I read the study. Good stuff my question is, how many turkeys killed are actually checked in or is there not a registration system. Wisconsin changed the way you check in a bird last year. They went away with tagging the bird and went To the honor system, harvest was down 10%. I think some people ne...

Re: Zero Turn?
I just picked up an Ariens good mower. Gravely makes them. Get a deck with three cutting blades. With your budget you can have whatever mower you want. Go with someone local the can honor any warranty issues should they arise.
