Re: ??? PICTURES ???
It's easy to post pics to this site without photobucket. That is if you have a smart phone. I'm on 4th year having a smart phone. Lol. If I can do it anybody can. Lol. That's what I think anyway.

Re: Recent post taken wrong.
Although the first thread by quaver was a bit unclear, my first interpretation of his comment was that the disabled hunter was violating the hunting regulations for the area by driving into the fields. His clarification seems to be reinforcing that. If that is the case, then regardless of whether h...

Re: How many members here had a mentor to get them started?
I read most of the good replys here. I am still learning myself if you look at my bad batting average! Just 113 turkeys in an estimated 1,500 Spring and Fall turkey hunts in 3 states. Most of the time I walked out empty handed--but thats crowded gun club lands and public lands for you...... I do ha...

Re: Anyone else like to protect their birds?
Yea I did a few years ago on another farm I have permission on. I bought my own farm now and once I get my house built and moved out there I'll start back so I check them everyday. Trapping gets rid of them more but setting up calling is a lot of fun and adrenaline rush for me. I love it. Just haven...

Re: Anyone else like to protect their birds?
Yes sir I try to. That's what I'm doing in between deer and turkey seasons is coyote hunting. I usually call in 4 or 5 here in the winter. Called in one last Monday to 75 yards and somehow it skirted around me. Haven't killed nothing yet. I'm not covered up in predators in my parts. I've only seen o...

Re: FOUND---turkey tail of first tom.
I knew it was around somewhere. Glad, I found it! I took this jake on 5/21/94 at the very end of my 5th Spring. I was probably out a good 330 times just to learn enough to finally tag this jake. That is both Spring and Fall. So, this fan means alot to me. I stapled it onto a piece of cardboard back...

Re: How many members here had a mentor to get them started?
I started when I was 15 years old. The guy I worked for on the farm told me I could turkey hunt it. His nephew took me and showed me a few things but not much. He didn't know how to call. I pretty much learned on my on thru the years. There's been a few years I didn't kill a bird. I haven't kept cou...

Well maybe you should post everything like you did here and WE wouldn't take it the wrong way. Your initial post was taken the wrong way and you know now. Why wouldn't it be. Anyway if he's hunting illegal then something needs to be done about it disabled or not. Good luck at Stewart state...
