I plan on waiting until the last 10 seconds then scoop it up. Then I'll have to start duck hunting. How much is a duck boat?

Re: Modifying the 835 into The Perfect Turkey Gun for me
Looking good. looks a lot like mine, except your's has a much prettier surface than mine. One thing you might want to consider is a comb riser. Cabelas offers a leather one that laces on. It will help get your eye in line with the scope. Felt a lot more comfortable to me.

Yes, not often but yes it has happened. I'm as calm as can be on 99% of the kills until after the shot, then I get tore up.

Good job! Kill'em all.
I'm in a same boat. Never saw one for twenty years on my property. Then had three last year on camera all summer, now I'm getting pictures of 20 to 30.

Don't look like it has any arms or legs so I don't think it could catch and hold you, so I wouldn't worry about it. It's the ones with six arms and four legs I worry about.

I have a lot of family across Bolt Mountain in Boone County. I have kin in Van, Madison, Bandytown and Quinland. Used to have an Aunt and Uncle who lived in Beckley. That used to be pretty country up that way, but the last time I was there I was shocked at what it looks like now.

The othe buck's headgear is so large the camera couldn't believe what it was seeing and didn't know how to focus. Either one of those bucks deserve to be mounted by a top notc...
