Re: Coyotes and the turkey population...
I just don't believe they get many. I would have to believe they are the least of a turkeys worries as far as predators. I see bobcats being harder on them. Yotes eat a lot more than meat to and are really more of a scavenger unlike a wolf or or mtn lion that need to kill weekly. It would make for a...

Re: Turkey hunting getting out of hand
Sad part is we spend all that money on the expensive ammo mean while most birds are killed 35 yds and in. At what point will lead not work in those occasions? True but theres people that want the best they can afford or just to tinker. My average shot is still in the 30-33 range and I havent killed...

Re: Turkey hunting getting out of hand
Yep, it's gotten crazy. Tried decoys...didn't like wondering if my calling had anything to do with the turkey getting killed or if the decoys brought him to his death. Ditched the decoys. I also went thru a phase where I shot tons of turkey loads at paper...then I figured out that once you get to a...

Re: Assault weapons ban dropped
True any new gun bought what have to be registered. I have enough to do me for life as most prob do here if need be. If it was to ever pass there's no way I couldn't see it leading to a war. Especially if it ever came to confiscation. States and counties would also need to comply for it to even work...

I remember you posting that on the other board and I my mind still hasn't changed. Chuck is a few bricks short of a load. He would die if he knew I shot a bunch of tss through a kicks .655 tube. Agreed! However, he would probably say TSS is safe for his chokes. LOL He would if I told him winchester...

I prefer my gun to shoot about 6" high. I aim at the waddles and his noggin gets the majority of the shot and little to none in the breast

Re: Primos Truth 24
If I want to watch a good Primos video I pull out one of the old VHS tapes of the Truth 1 thru 10 and watch them the rest are all about marketing IMO And we have a winner. I can only watch so much of a turkey being killed in a lush green field with a flock of decoys sitting out there and them in a ...

Tommy you stole that! M1 and M2 are pretty much the same. Mobil vs crio choke and m1 has a steel trigger housing where the m2 is plastic.

Re: Previously Shot Turkeys
I would say every 5-6 killed one will have shot in it. I called one up for my buddy a few years and he must have got excited cause he took way to long of a shot. About 70 yards with lead. I went back the next day and killed him and he had a some nice fresh wounds in his leg. Didn't act bothered comi...
