Re: Happy Birthday Kev!!!
Happy Birthday CamoMan!! I was hoping your new F150 CamoMan Edition would be delivered this weekend. Keep checking your driveway, I'm sure it will arrive soon. http://camodash.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Ford-F150-Realtree-Camouflage-Interior-Trim-Dash-Kit-Large3-578x350.jpg http://img.photobucke...

JTown21, hoobilly,
The silver Toyota Tacoma probably won't be able to make it to your neighborhood but my friends at the USPS would be more than happy to deliver a package.

Re: Turkey People
I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by turkey calls, turkey hunting and turkey hunters 365 days a year (had a turkey call business that was run out of the basement of our home for a number of years). This was way before the internet, message boards, videos and TV shows so I got an "education&...

Strikers
I've been in the shop turning a few strikers. It's an old design with a new twist. I've made up a few strikers that are a combination of either oak or mahogany, Corian and carbon. I put some Corian in the top end of the striker to give it a little weight and a unique look and they are tipped with ca...

Lots of what ifs to your question. You may not be getting a response because the birds are not there. It might be better to change your location.

Re: DOES YOUR STATE REQUIRE A PLUG ?
You would think that having his own ProStaff and being an officer of the law in the Commonwealth of Virginia the great CamoMan would know the game laws in his own state. I DO APPRECIATE ALL HE DOES FOR THE COMMONWEALTH THOUGH. HE IS PROBABLY HANDLING SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE IMPORTANT THAN SHOTGUN PL...

Re: Youth recommendation
Whichever gun you decide to go with make sure you get an adjustable shooting stick as well. The stick will make it much easier for your young one to steady the gun and maneuver for the shot on an approaching bird.

Re: Mouth Call Making Discussion
How long does it take to make a call using those call building jigs? It depends I am pretty slow as I do not build enough to have consistency with a great deal of speed, so I have to pay attention.. I would say from : tacking, stretching, crimping, cutting extra latex and than making the cut maybe ...

Re: Favorites from the Past
I used to be fond of my PS Olt scratch box and Roger Latham True Tone Box call. Then later on I added a Penns Woods stacked mouth call, then a Perfection Double D I think is what it was called. I still like Double D's. I caught the pun and  I think there are some Double D's floating...I mean b...

ICDEDTURKES, you're showing your age...you're still a pup. :D Perfection's Super Double D and of course the RaspyD were go to calls for me as well as their Double Glass pot call, which gave way to the Screamin' Demon. Also used a Lynch box, a Cost box and a trough call from Ben Lee. A P.S. Olt owl h...
