Re: Golf carts, hunting buggies.....

Sweet cart John. You just need a little Honda generator to charge it on those shoots and you'd be set.

Golf carts, hunting buggies.....

Many of you probably have golf carts or electric BBB type carts. I've come across some info that some of you might not know and may be useful to some. My family is pretty big on golf carts and various accessories for hunting, working the farm, and various house chores, so I get to work on them and a...

Re: polaris rzr

I've riden a RZR and they are like rocket ships! The only thing I didn't like was how the pedal was adjusted. It was extremely sensitive, but hard to push on the other hand. I know it doesn't make sense, but if you try to putt along it didn't seem like it wanted to go, you had to push a little more...

Re: yellow jackets

RAID is about the only thing I've tried that will kill em dead on contact. The other brands seem to give them alittle time before they croak.

I'm allergic to the bastids, so keep the RAID on hand.

Re: I believe this one will get the job done......(new rifle

Looking good Ronny, got to get my .280 build back on track. The new house has set me back just a shade on a few things. Glad to see the 6.5-06 is doing you well, with all the crap you have gone through with that gun. Word on the street is, a new gun club is organizing in my area, and they are suppo...

Re: I believe this one will get the job done......(new rifle

I'm only good for about .25-.3 with a great shooting rig toasty, even when the rig is more capable. That said, I don't shoot any real heavy rigs much, which definitely makes a difference. Occasionally dip into the .1s with a few .2s every now and then with my best rigs. Not real sure on the bbl life...

Re: 40.05 yards

Lest you think I am a long range sniper, let me set the record straight. Even after several years of shooting HTL and a pickup load of turkeys, my average kill distance is still under 30 yds. But my longest was in 2011. I hunt some pasture birds on a lease in SW NC. I was changing position, so didn...

Dude I love the Matthews Lost. I ate lunch with John (pullit) today and he was saying that you guys got a great deal on that dipping job. Yeah man, we got them on a special from Liquid Dimensions out of GA. He ran a $100 special on shotguns a couple months back. I had to pay an extra $15 to get the...

Dang Ronnie, extra tight groups with extreme velocity,... Looks like there is gonna be a lot of dead critters around your huntin grounds. Are those red tips, Hornady's?? Most of my 6s love the 95 BTs also. Playing with a couple new ones myself, a 6 x 284, and 6.5 x 284. 700 actions, Shilen barrels....

Which bullet are you shooting? Nosler ballistic tip and Partition? Reloader powder? Love those 4 leaf clovers! Sweet gun! Yep, those groups were with Partitions and NBTs. It loves those two pills, but shoots many others really well too. That was indeed Reloder powders, R17 and R25. Thanks, loder

Re: I believe this one will get the job done......(new rifle

How much was that total rig?? Nice! I got it for a steal. Been waiting on the 6.5-06 to get finished and came across this 6-06 unfired built by Dan Dowling. Dan is well known for good work and I liked the spec list, so snagged it up for $1650(well over 2k went into it, but the guy changed his mind ...

Thanks guys!! Ronny, That is one sweet rig and some incredible groups!! By Bling you mean? What you have planned now? Roy Roy, I'll probably leave this one as is. I may get the Ti fulting done to the bolt for bling, just haven't made up my mind for sure yet. My other new rig is a 6.5-06 built by Kir...

New rig....

This one started as a black SX2 I picked up for a steal. Sent it off for a dip in Mathews Lost, then had my bud drill and tap for a FF 336 mount. Haven't polished the bbl, just fired it a couple times to check numbers. Threw great patterns and hit POA with the bead. Looking fwd to whacking a few wit...
