Re: Guess Who?

It would save everybody a lot of time and money, just give them your address, phone number and say your sorry for killing so many d --- turkeys. Thank goodness you at least ca...

Re: Savduck trumpet instruction

Hey Del
Ga. should only let you use Duct tape, Bailing twine and Rubber hose for turkey calling.
Oh hell, never mind you would make that sound good!
Love the stuff you and Billy put out.

I recently came back from a Florida turkey hunt and was told by the ranch owner to shoot any hogs seen.
I shot a 230# Boar in the head twice at 40yards. Killed him ! 3" LBXR#6

Sorry about the handloading, patterning etc .....
I never claimed to work for NASA but I'll pay closer attention next time.
I usually buy my shells, pattern my gun and kill some birds, then eat them.
End of my discussion :banghead:

Florida Trip

For almost 40 years I've wanted to hunt Osceola's and lets just say this was the year. I've had friends that have hunted and guided down there for decades and wanted me to come down, but it just never worked out. This year I talked with my friends and planned the hunt. I would hunt Green swamp for 4...

Great, I'd be asking myself "Did I eat breakfast yet, are you hungry????" And then my buddies would answer No/Yes and he will still be gobbling when we get back. That's what I call Thunder Chicken and Waffles

Nice call and breakfast is my favorite meal ALL day

Re: Any Out-of-State Hunts Planned This Year?

For those of you that are planning a trip to NW Pa. or western Ny. We took a hard hit last winter and had a very wet and cold spring (2015). Plus we now have another predator to contend with (the Fisher) is killing birds on the roost and the ones that get away make it to the ground in the dark where...

Re: Using shooting stick?

Yes, I use a monopod and love it! Yes, I'm not in my 20s anymore. Yes, I cant bend my knees like I used to. It works great as a walking stick, because us hillbillies tend to have one leg shorter than the other. Its nice for crossing streams, creeks or swamps. The monopod has helped me more than hind...

Re: My New Ride

All joking aside when I was in my 30sss, I loved mine to spend the weekend at the races or the week turkey hunting somewhere. I made a shower out of an old metal pump sprayer, my grandfather's old coleman stove and a porta seat sitting out in the woods. What more did you need? I took that thing deep...
